Read and React. Do not Avoid

Hello folks!!

It is the time to wake up. India’s image is becoming pale day by day because of many issues but the most shameful thing is physically auscultation recently on the CNN NEWS.

Here you can have more Idea.Take a tour and respond.

India is the country where religion and virtue are very important factors and almost people are connected with it. There are countless numbers of “Goddess” and leading females belong to India. We pray and respect them but few rape cases have made very unrealistic picture in all over the world.

We are responsible for it because we focused on Politics and Entertainment. Let them do whatever they want. Let’s we save our women wealth and give appropriate answer to the link. It is the time to show our real identity and support other people who are constantly trying to protect our Nation’s image without uttering a word. And they are not making show. They are doing their work very silently. Join them and give appropriate answer that has our false image. Let’s correct it.

Facebook to test mobile payments service

Facebook is testing a Paypal competitor for mobile payments

Facebook is coming with new feature for Paypal payment. Now users can make purchases through mobile application by payment information they add to their account on the social network.. Facebook plans to test a mobile payments service .They describe it  on a “very small test”. And the company says there is set schedule for making the service available to users. The service would use payment information that shoppers store on Facebook to automatically complete checkout forms of certain mobile apps. Then, the app would process the purchase. Under the service, a user would register their credit card with Facebook in advance (many people already do this because they play games or on Facebook for things that require transactions) and when they want to make a payment, they would just log in with their Facebook credentials, rather than digging out their credit card number.
Spokeswoman Tera Randall said in an e-mailed statement that Facebook has a “great relationship with PayPal, and this product is simply to test how we can help our app partners provide a more simple commerce experience.”
“Consumers want safe, seamless and convenient mobile payments and there are a growing number of competitors that consumers trust more — such as PayPal, Visa (V.me) and others,” Carrington said in an e-mailed statement.
There has been speculation that Facebook is looking to take on Paypal and other providers of those services that allow their services for billing. Paypal has already put out a statement that they welcome the competition, to which Facebook said it has a “great relationship with PayPal” PayPal and the two companies are partners. PayPal spokesperson said in a statement, “We have a great relationship with Facebook and expect that to continue. Our customers love using Paypal on Facebook.”

Paypal continued, “We’ve been investing in mobile payments since 2006, and last year 10 percent of our total payment volume – $14 billion – was from mobile devices. However, we always welcome competition and look forward to seeing what Facebook will announce.”
To use Facebook’s upcoming online payments service shoppers will have to hand over their credit card details to Facebook. Given the recent PRISM revelations however, it’s possible that users will be reluctant to hand over their personal details to the social network.
The user benefits from ease of use and the merchant benefits because it means more sales are completed. Facebook, of course, benefits in a number of ways including data acquisition and whatever kind of transaction fee they get. Forrester Research retail analyst Sucharita Mulpuru seemed to agree, and told Allthingsd that the lack of trust users have for Facebook could ultimately hinder the firm’s mobile payments plans.
He said, “Nobody trusts social networks with their financial information, and they are certainly not going to trust Facebook. Maybe they have a few million people that have bought something on things like FarmVille, but that does not a network make.”

However, if it is a success a mobile payments system could give Facebook a much needed insight into shoppers’ mobile shopping habits, which could see the social network boosting its mobile experience further with better targeted advertising.

Yahoo! squeaked past Google for web traffic

Yahoo overtakes Google in web for the first time since 2011.  traffic ComScore reported Yahoo! beat Google without counting Tumblr.

For the first time in two years, Yahoo has beaten Google in ComScore’s monthly ranking of top web properties.
Mayer steered Yahoo past Google in U.S. Web traffic in July — the first time Yahoo has claimed the top spot since May 2011, according to market researcher ComScore.

Yahoo’s collected sites raked in 196.6 million visitors as opposed to Google’s, which attracted 192.3 million. Yahoo is breaking Google's two-year stranglehold on the top spot. The score for July represents a 20 per cent increase on 2012’s performance when Yahoo ranked third, behind both Google and Microsoft.

Games, e-mail and real estate led the way for Yahoo, which had closed the gap with Google over the past few months, ComScore spokesman Andrews Lipsman said. The comScore report is inclusive of desktop traffic only. A more comprehensive report is due out next week. Though Google typically beats Yahoo handily in mobile traffic, Mayer has noted that Yahoo has seen a recent uptick in mobile.

The rankings of unique visitors to US sites includes a number of different web properties for each company but did not include Yahoo’s recent acquisition Tumblr (it came 28th in the ranking).
This news is strong sign that Yahoo’s CEO Marissa Mayer is succeeded in reinvigorating the old brand. However, despite the clear nature of comScore’s league table, the reasons behind Yahoo’s new position are less clear-cut. Andrew Lipsman from ComScore has commented that the change isn’t necessarily due to Mayer’s string of recent acquisitions for the company:

“[It] seems there are other factors at play, and given how close Yahoo Sites and Google have been in recent months, it can likely just be normal seasonal/month-to-month fluctuations.”

It’s also of note that comScore’s figures do not include how many people use the companies’ search engines, a market in which Google continues to dominate 67 per cent of the market in June. Yahoo only attracted 12 per cent of net users over the same period, with Microsoft’s Bing taking second place with 17 per cent.

Something more is going on at Yahoo: Shares have nearly doubled in value since Mayer took over; it has acquired Tumblr and other valuable properties; and Yahoo has refreshed its product line. Mayer even found time to polish her fashion bona fide in an eye-popping Vogue photo spread and profile this month.
Mayer said in a recent Vogue interview that Yahoo will thrive in the transition from desktop to smaller screen mobile devices by returning to its "daily habits" roots."Email, maps, weather, news, stock quotes, share photos, group communication, sports scores, games. You're listening to what people do on their mobile phones," she told Vogue. "And it sounds like a list of what Yahoo does."
Marissa Mayer, the latest CEO of Yahoo, in her first earnings call was proud about the company’s profit of 35 cents a share on revenue of $1.09 billion. She spoke a lot about her plans to venture into the Smartphone market. “I grade our progress on mobile as an A,” Mayer said. “We invested heavily and are seeing incredible growth as a result.”"Yahoo’s future is mobile and we are delivering our products mobile first,” she added.
Mayer said that the company would be improvising on its core products which are mail, adds, mobile and the news. “[we're] going back to our roots as a consumer Internet company focused on consumer experience,” she said.
Since she took up the job, she has created a new working environment, recruiting a lot of innovative blood and some colleges from her older work place, Google.  ”Companies are all about people, and the companies with the best talent win,” Mayer said.
With the buying of Tumblr and other companies Yahoo has been trying very hard to increase its revenue. Mayer said that in the near future, a half of the companies employees would be working on improving its mobile applications.  ”The mobile wave is a huge wave for us to ride,” she said.
If according to the promises that Marissa Mayer made, Yahoo will in a few years time be among the big players in the mobile market and the giants of the internet, competing with Google, Microsoft and Facebook, though, currently, Yahoo does not have any of its applications anywhere near the global players.

Mayer faces a unique opportunity to remake her workplace and lead her employees in a great experiment of making Yahoo more family-friendly

iOS 7 unveiled: Completely redesigned with flat look and new features (Updated)

ios 7 coming this Autumn….
With an all-new design and all-new features,
Apple reportedly using scratch-proof sapphire crystal for iPhone 5S
fingerprint sensor

·         Ios7 is pure representation of simplicity
·        iOS 7 introduces great new features like Control Centre, AirDrop for iOS and smarter multitasking, Camera, Filters, find my phone, Safari.

It also makes the things you do every day even easier, faster and more enjoyable.

 Control center:

Notification Center lets you know about new mail, missed calls, to-dos that need doing and more. And a new feature called today gives you a convenient summary of, well, today. One glance at your iPhone and you’ll know if it’s a certain someone’s birthday or if you’ll need an umbrella. You’ll even get a heads-up on tomorrow. You can access Notification Center from any screen, including the Lock screen. Just swipe down. And get up to speed.

Multitasking:
Multitasking has always been a smart way to switch between apps. Now it’s even smarter. Because iOS 7 learns when you like to use your apps and can update your content before you launch them. So if you tend to check your favorite social app at 9:00 am every day, your feed will be ready and waiting for you. That’s multitasking in iOS 7. It knows what you want to do before you do.

·         A smarter way to multitask.

Press the Home button twice to see preview screens of the apps you has open. To quit an app, just swipe it up and out of preview.

·         Intelligently scheduled updates.

iOS schedules updates during power-efficient times. Like when your device is on and connected to Wi-Fi. So your battery isn't drained unnecessarily.
Camera
Camera in iOS 7 puts all your shooting formats — still, video, panorama, and now square — front and centre. With a swipe, you can capture what you want the way you want.1 Fast. And new filters let you do even more with each image. Give it a retro feel. Dial up the contrast.
Filters
You can apply filters to still and square photos. Pick a filter and see the effect before you take the picture. Or just take the shot and apply it later. If you ever change your mind and decide no filter is the best filter, you can simply remove it.
Air Drop
Sending a photo or a document to someone via text or email is fine. But if that someone is right next to you, a text or an email suddenly feels like too many steps. Enter AirDrop for iOS. It lets you quickly and easily share photos, videos, contacts — and anything else from any app with a Share button. Just tap Share, then select the person you want to share with. AirDrop does the rest using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. No setup required. And transfers are encrypted, so what you share is highly secure.

Share one to one. Or one to many.

With AirDrop, you can share, say, a photo or a video with a specific person or multiple people. Just tap the Share icon, select who you want to share with and let AirDrop do its thing.

Make yourself available. Or not.

You’re automatically visible in AirDrop to your contacts running iOS 7. But you can also make yourself visible to anyone nearby using iOS 7 or to no one at all. One tap in Control Center is all it takes.

Safari
Browsing is bigger, better and more beautiful with Safari in iOS 7. Buttons and bars — like the unified smart search field — stay hidden until you scroll to reveal them. So you see more content than ever on your screen. And with a swipe, you can go back or forward a page. It’s all designed so nothing gets in your way or slows you down.

Unified smart search field.

Type a URL or search term in the unified smart search field, and Safari automatically suggests the closest match to what you’re looking for. So you find the right web page fast.

New tab view.

See your open web pages in a consolidated view that lets you scroll effortlessly from tab to tab. To close a page, just swipe it offscreen.

iCloud Keychain.

Lots of things you do on the web require passwords. Now iCloud can remember your account names, passwords and credit card numbers for you. And Safari will enter them automatically whenever you need to sign in to a site or shop online. It works on all your approved iOS 7 devices and Mac computers running OS X Mavericks. And with 256‑bit AES encryption, it’s highly secure.

Password Generator.

Every time you create an account, you can have Safari generate a unique, hard‑to‑guess password. And remember it for you.
Apps store
Apps Near Me — a new feature of the App Store in iOS 7 — shows you a collection of popular apps relevant to your current location. And a new Kids category spotlights the best apps for children based on age. iOS 7 also keeps your apps up to date automatically, so you don’t have to bother. Another bonus of automatic updates: no more little red badge begging for your attention.

What’s popular near me?

Wherever you find yourself — the Louvre, for instance — tap Near Me and you’ll see a list of apps you might find useful.

Browse the best apps for kids.

Now parents and teachers can quickly find apps that are perfect for children. Just visit the new Kids category for a curated selection of age‑appropriate apps.
Find my Phone
Losing your iPhone feels lousy. Thankfully, Find My iPhone can help you get it back. But if it looks like that’s not going to happen, new security features in iOS 7 make it harder for anyone who’s not you to use or sell your device. Now turning off Find My iPhone or erasing your device requires your Apple ID and password. Find My iPhone can also continue to display a custom message, even after your device is erased. And your Apple ID and password are required before anyone can reactivate it. Which means your iPhone is still your iPhone. No matter where it is.

Lock screen message.

Even after a remote erase, Find My iPhone can continue to display a message with your phone number on the Lock screen.

Your iPhone made it home.

password to If you get your iPhone back after you've already erased it, just enter your Apple ID and reactivate it.

Imagine how  easy, interesting and fun math would be when you will be able to do any calculation in a matter of seconds and solve Math questions in no time. Not only your friends, classmates and teachers will be awe impressed with you but you yourself be proud of your own Mathematical ability.

Ekadhikena Purvena
One More than the Previous is a sutra useful in finding squares of numbers (like 25x25, 95x95, 105x105, 992x992 etc) and special divisions like 1 divided by 19, 29, 39, …. 199 etc. just in one step.

Division
To divide 1 by numbers ending with 9 like 1 divided by 19, 29, 39, ….. 119 etc. is a tedious work, using conventional method. Some of these numbers like 19, 29, and 59 are prime numbers and so cannot be factorized and division becomes all the more difficult and runs into many pages in the present conventional method and the chances of making mistakes are many.

Method 1
For example, take 1/19.In the divisor(19), previous one or the number before 9 is 1. By sutra,Ekaadhika or by adding 1 more to the previous one, we get 2. Lets call the previous one+1 (here 2) as "x".In this method,we start from the end. There will be (divisor-1) terms in the answer. Now,
·         Assign last number to be 1.Now,multiply it with "x".ie,
 2 1

(1*x)|1

·         Now go on multiplying with "x" for (divisor-1)/2 times (here,) [(19-1)/2],ie,
Result: 9 4 7 3 6 8 4 2 1

Process :(2*x+1)|(7*x)|(3*x+1)|[6*x+1

(Carry of last multiplication)]| (8*x)|(4*x)|(2*x)|(1*x)
·         In the next step, write the compliment of  9 from the last number onwards,(divisor-1)/2 times
Result  : 0 5 2 6 3 1 5 7 8 9 4 7 3 6 8 4 2 1

Process  : (9-i)|(9-h)|(9-g)|(9-f)|(9-e)|(9-d)|(9-c)|(9-b)|(9-a)|i|h|g|f|e|d|c|b|a

·         Now, prefix 0., and this is your final answer, more accurate than a value that your calculator or computer can give.
 = 0.0 5 2 6 3 1 5 7 8 9 4 7 3 6 8 4 2 1
So.try this yourself these 1/29,1/39,1/49.1/59.can also be found in seconds,
For example,
1/29    = 0.0 3 4 4 8 2 7 5 8 6 2 0 6 8 9 6 5 5 1 7 2 4 1 3 7 9 3 1

Multiplication Method: Value of 1 / 19

First we recognize the last digit of the denominator of the type 1 / 9. Here the last digit is 9. For a fraction of the form in whose denominator 9 is the last digit, we take the case of 1 / 19 as follows: For 1 / 19, 'previous' of 19 is 1. And one more than of it is 1 + 1 = 2. Therefore 2 is the multiplier for the conversion.
We write the last digit in the numerator as 1 and follow the steps leftwards.

Step. 1 : 1
Step. 2 : 21(multiply 1 by 2, put to left)
Step. 3 : 421(multiply 2 by 2, put to left)
Step. 4 : 8421(multiply 4 by 2, put to left)
Step. 5 : 168421 (multiply 8 by 2=16, 1 carried over, 6 put to left)
Step. 6 : 1368421 ( 6 X 2 =12,+1 = 13, 1 carried over, 3 put to left )
Step. 7 : 7368421 ( 3 X 2, = 6 +1 = 7, put to left)
Step. 8 : 147368421 (as in the same process)
Step. 9 : 947368421 ( Do – continue to step 18)
Step. 10 : 18947368421
Step. 11 : 178947368421
Step. 12 : 1578947368421
Step. 13 : 11578947368421
Step. 14 : 31578947368421
Step. 15 : 631578947368421
Step. 16 : 12631578947368421
Step. 17 : 52631578947368421
Step. 18 : 1052631578947368421
Now from step 18 onward the same numbers and order towards left continue.

Thus 1 / 19 = 0.052631578947368421'

Method 2
Using the same method, we can find,1/7 and 1/39  etc.
Viz,
1/7 = (7/7) * (1/7) =7*(1/49) , where  can be find out by above method.
Also,1/13  = (3/3)*(1/13) =3*(1/39).

Nikhilam Navatashcaramam Dashatah
ALL FROM 9 AND THE LAST FROM 10
Use the formula all from 9 and the last from 10, to perform instant subtractions.
For example 1000 - 357 = ?      (subtraction from 1000)
We simply take each figure in 357 from 9 and the last figure from 10.

Step 1. 9-3 = 6
Step 2. 9-5 = 4
Step 3. 10-7 = 3

So the answer is 1000 - 357 = 643

And that's all there is to it!

This always works for subtractions from numbers consisting of a 1 followed by nougats: 100; 1000; 10,000 etc.

Similarly 10,000 - 1049 = 8951

Urdhva-Tiryagbyham
Vertically and clock wise:
Suppose you need   7*6
8 is 3 below 10 and 6 is 4 below 10.
Subtract (10-8)=2...............................                         step -1              8   2
Subtract (10-6)= 4..............................                         step -2              6   4
Subtract (8-4) or (6-2) [crosswise] = 4......                   step -3               4   8
Multiply (2*4) = 8.................................                      step -4

Combine step 3 and 4
So Answer = 48

98*97
Subtract (100-98)=2..................step-1
Subtract (100-97)=3...................step-2
Subtract (97-2)=95....................step-3
Multiply (2*3) =06.....................step-4
Combine step 3 and 4
So Answer =9506

Multiplication with a series of 9s

Multiplications with numbers like 9, or 99, or 999, or 9999.....so on. It feels like if multiplier is a big number, the calculation will be tough. But, with the help of vedic math formulae, the multiplication is much easier for all '9' digits multiplier. By using the method given below, we can multiply any number with 99,999,9999, etc. very quickly.

Please note that the methods or the vedic formulae, that we use in this calculation, are "By one less than the one before" and "All from 9 and the last from10".

There are three cases for the multiplication of numbers with a series of 9's.

  • ·         Case 1: Multiplying a number with a multiplier having equal number of 9’s digits  (like 587 x 999)
Try these
  • ·         Case 2: Multiplying a number with a multiplier having more number of 9’s digits  (like 4678 x 999999)
  • ·         Case 3: Multiplying a number with a multiplier having lesser number of 9’s digits  (like 1628 x 99)

The method to solve 'Case 1' and 'Case 2' is the same, but for 'Case 3', the method is different. Let us start with 'Case 1'.

  •  Multiplying a number with a multiplier having equal number of 9’s digits

       Multiply 587 by 999
           587
       x 999
       ------------
        586 413

Solution is,

·          Let us first do the calculation by conventional method to understand the solution. Result will be 586413.
·         Split the answer in two parts i.e. '586' and '413'.
·         Let's see the first part of the result, i.e. 586. It is reduced by 1 from the number being multiplied i.e. 587 - 1 = 586. {Vedic sutra "By one less than the onebefore"}
·         Now see the last part, i.e. 413. Subtract the multiplicand i.e. 587 from 1000 (multiplier + 1). Vedic Sutra applied here is "All from 9 and the last from 10", and hence we substract 587 from 1000. So the outcome will be (9 -5 = 4, 9 - 8 = 1, 10 - 7 = 3) , and result is 413. Refer to image below for more clarity:

1.     Square of Numbers ending in 5.
Step -1 : Multiply the figures (except the last 5) by one more than it.
Step -2 : Write (square of 5)25 after it.

Example -Square -25

 (25) 2 = [2*(2+1)] 25
            =[2*3]25
            =625

(105)2  = [10*(10*1)]25
            =[10*11]25
            =11025
Vedic Mathematics is very deep subject. There are unlimited benefits of it.It can help us in many ways.
·         It is very  simple, direct, totally unconventional, original and straight forward.
·         It encourages mental calculations.
·         It enriches our understanding of maths and enables us to see links and continuity between different branches of maths.
·     Vedic Maths system also gives us a set of checking procedures for independent crosschecking of whatever we do.
·       It keeps the mind alert and lively because of the element of choice and flexibility at each .
·      Holistic development of the human brain takes place through Vedic Mathematics along with multidimensional thinking.
·   Vedic Mathematics system to quite an extent also helps us in developing our spiritual part of personality.
·    It can introduce creativity in intelligent and smart students, while helping the slow-learners grasp the basic concepts of mathematics. More and more use of Vedic math can without any doubts generate interest in a subject that is generally dreaded by children.
Thus, Vedic maths is considered to be more than the blessing of the Veda for the entire humanity
